1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to The Stretch Connection. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your use of services provided by The Stretch Connection and Rachel Cain (referred to here as "we," "us," "our," or "The Stretch Connection").

By visiting this website, booking an appointment, purchasing a session or package, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use this website or book a session.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you use the site or receive services is the version that applies to you. Continued use of the site or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Nature of Our Services

The Stretch Connection provides Fascia Stretch Therapy, a form of assisted stretching and movement therapy. Our services are wellness services. They are not medical care, and they are not physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, or any other licensed healthcare service.

Specifically, and without limitation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease, illness, injury, or medical condition.

  • We do not provide medical advice, medical diagnoses, medical opinions, or treatment recommendations, and nothing said during a session or published on this website should be interpreted as any of those things.

  • We do not prescribe medication, order or interpret diagnostic imaging or laboratory testing, or perform any procedure requiring a medical or healthcare license.

  • Receiving our services does not create a doctor-patient relationship, a therapist-patient relationship, or any other licensed healthcare provider relationship between you and Rachel Cain or The Stretch Connection.

  • Our services are not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified licensed healthcare provider.

You are encouraged to consult your physician or another appropriate licensed healthcare provider before beginning Fascia Stretch Therapy, particularly if you have any existing medical condition, are recovering from surgery or injury, are pregnant, or have been advised to limit physical activity.

3. About Rachel Cain’s Professional Background

Rachel Cain previously held licensure as a physical therapist and has voluntarily retired that license. She does not practice physical therapy, does not hold herself out as a currently licensed physical therapist, and does not provide physical therapy services through The Stretch Connection.

Any reference on this website or in our materials to her prior experience as a physical therapist is provided solely as background regarding her education and professional history. It is not an offer to provide physical therapy services, and it should not be understood as a representation of current licensure.

Rachel Cain is a Certified Fascia Stretch Therapy practitioner trained through the Stretch to Win Institute. Certification through a private training organization is not a government-issued professional license and does not authorize the practice of any licensed healthcare profession.

4. Health Disclosure, Assumption of Risk, and Client Responsibilities

4.1 Your Disclosure Obligations

Before your first session, you will be asked to complete an intake form describing your health history, current conditions, injuries, surgeries, medications, and physical limitations. You agree to provide complete and accurate information and to promptly inform us of any change in your health status, including any new injury, diagnosis, surgery, pregnancy, or medical restriction.

We rely on the information you provide. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in services that are not appropriate for your condition and may increase your risk of injury.

4.2 Assumption of Risk

Fascia Stretch Therapy involves physical movement, assisted stretching, and manual contact. While the technique is designed to be gentle and to remain within a comfortable range, all physical activity carries inherent risk, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strain, aggravation of an existing condition, dizziness, discomfort, and in rare cases more serious injury.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with receiving our services. You agree to communicate immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any other concerning sensation during a session, and you understand that you may ask to pause or stop a session at any time for any reason.

4.3 Waiver and Informed Consent

All clients are required to sign a separate waiver, informed consent, and release of liability before their first session. Those documents are in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the signed waiver, [the signed waiver / these Terms] will control.

4.4 When Services May Not Be Appropriate

We reserve the right to decline, modify, pause, or discontinue services at any time if, in our sole judgment, services are not appropriate or safe for you, or if you would be better served by a licensed healthcare provider. In those circumstances we may refer you to another practitioner or advise you to seek medical evaluation.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Do not rely on this website, on email, on text message, or on a scheduled appointment for urgent or emergency care.
